Carboard boats, representing businesses, organizations, and individuals, will compete in a series of elimination heats to be declared the overall winner of the Summerside Lobster Carnival Cardboard Boat Races and, for the first time ever, claim the prize of $1,000.00!

The races are taking place in 2022 at the Ice Pond Nature Park on the corner of South Drive and Greenwood Drive (716 South Drive) across from carnival grounds. First place will be awarded to the boat team with the fastest time or with the boat still floating. It is suspense at its best with spectators lining the banks to cheer on their favourite entry.
